Introduction: A1 is the first level of the Cambridge English Qualifications. It shows that you have mastered the basics of English and now have the skills to communicate in simple situations. The A1 Qualification is made up of four papers:
Reading and Writing – This is a test of your reading and writing ability. You will be asked to read texts and answer questions. You will also be asked to write texts such as messages, notes and short descriptions.
Listening – This is a test of your ability to listen to English. You will be asked to listen to short recordings and answer questions.
Speaking – This is a test of your ability to communicate in English. You will be asked to talk to another person or a group of people.
